We made it to Baltimore! Thanks to our friend for having a warm, safe place to stay! The patriots won and are headed to the Super Bowl 😎

On the way through Connecticut, we stopped at Tavern 42 to meet up with Molly’s family. It was a nice atmosphere with cool fireplaces and high ceilings. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for food on the I84 corridor.

We spent the afternoon and early evening driving through the rain. If you’re looking to avoid tolls headed to Baltimore- be sure to stay west of the major cities and take alternate routes. It might save you some cash 💰!

Our generous host took us out on the town. We went to Abbey Burger – where they had options of kangaroo, duck,  antelope, and camel burgers. I had the spicy BLT – only because I ate a burger for lunch. It was delicious and I highly recommend it.

After, we went up to Federal Hill where #craigthecat explored a bit. It’s a great view of the downtown city. We could see Domino Sugar, Under Armor, the aquarium and many high rise buildings. Not bad for a foggy night.

Next, we bar hopped a bit. Naturally, we went to get a shot of tequila at Blue Agave Restarant and then ventured to Wayward for a glass of local Sagamore Spirit.

Overall, it was a great night in Baltimore. I look forward to returning in warm weather.
